She just recently opened up her salon but has been using Featherlocks at another salon since last summer. She absolutely LOVES Featherlocks and believe the durability and quality of ours are the absolute best. She stated, “Most salons in this area use something else and people are saying whatever they are using just don't stay in, break, and lose their vibrant color. We had one client that kept hers in till it fell out which took almost 4 months.”
We asked her a few questions about the beauty industry and here’s what she had to say…
What would you say is your favorite "hair trend" right now?
My favorite hair trend at the moment is the crazy colors people are putting in their hair. I had a client put some blue and we added some purple and green feathers to finish the look up it was so cool.
Who would you say is your main clientele that gets Featherlocks?
We have a wide range of ladies that are coming in for the Featherlocks so anywhere from 7 and up the oldest client was is her 60's.
How do you market Featherlocks?
We have some window clings but since we have moved salons we no longer have them. People know we have them and so usually tell others who are looking for them.
What is your client base like on a typical day?
I have 3 stylists (that includes me) and we do a lot of colors. Lots of foiling.
For the clients who do get Featherlocks, what are some of their favorites and what is their demographic?
The people getting the Featherlocks love the bright ones and the thicker but not like the braider style.
What is the best way for clients/customers to get in contact with you?
Most of our clients call the salon or text our personal phones and we have started reaching people through Facebook.
Anything else you would like to add?
We specialize in Goldwell Color and the other product line we use is Pureology. I have used the Featherlocks since last summer and have had great response to them.
